Peyton is 17 years old and currently inpatient at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Cardiac ICU. In 2009, Peyton became severely ill and need a heart transplant. She was placed on a transplant list and two weeks later she received a beautiful new heart.

Luca was born in June of 2024 at 35 weeks gestation. He was diagnosed with a Single Ventricle heart defect, known as Pulmonary Atresia. Luca’s road to recovery has had many ups and downs and he has been in and out of the hospital multiple times for various reasons. Throughout Luca’s hospitalizations his family has struggled financially to pay bills, rent, and make car payments. We are honored to have Luca’s family as our first recipient of Theo’s Gift!
