We are the Elwell family! Our son, Theo, was born with multiple defects including an abnormally formed esophagus, trachea and heart. Theo’s first major surgery of his esophagus and trachea was just hours after he was born in October 2023. His first heart surgery followed two weeks later. At only 9 months old, he had already undergone a total of five major surgeries and will inevitably need more surgical intervention as he grows. Despite the hardships Theo has faced, his resilient smile has shined through time and time again. He has touched the hearts of many and has inspired us to bless other families navigating a similar path.

We know first-hand the difficulties not only of learning to care for their child but also balancing jobs, family time, hospital stays and much more. Our goal is to alleviate some of the financial burden so families can better focus on the day-to-day care of their precious child.

At Theo’s Gift, we understand the unique challenges faced by families caring for a child born with congenital defects.
